Basewatch is an iPhone and iPad app from Wooden Amethyst for monitoring and managing Supabase projects. Contact [email protected] with any privacy question.
No Basewatch servers
Basewatch has no servers and no accounts of its own. The app talks directly to Supabase (api.supabase.com, your projects' own addresses and status.supabase.com) and to Apple for purchases. We don't receive your data.
Your Supabase sign-in
When you sign in with Supabase or add a personal access token, the credentials are stored in the iOS Keychain on your device. They are used only to call Supabase on your behalf. Signing out removes them and, for a Supabase sign-in, asks Supabase to revoke Basewatch's access.
Project data
Basewatch reads your projects, alerts, logs, metrics and other information from Supabase so it can show them to you. It keeps recent results, alert history and metric readings on your device so Home, widgets and notifications work. This data stays on your device and is not sent to us or to anyone else. With App Lock on, widgets hide project names and values.
Notifications and background checks
If you turn on background monitoring (Basewatch Pro), the app checks your projects in the background and creates notifications on your device. We don't send push notifications and receive nothing from these checks.
Purchases
Basewatch Pro is sold through the App Store. Apple processes the payment; we never see your payment details. The app receives a verified record from Apple of whether your Apple Account owns Pro.
What we do not do
Basewatch has no analytics, advertising or tracking. We don't ask for your name or email address, we don't track you across other companies' apps or websites, and we don't sell or share your personal information.
Removing your data
Sign out in Basewatch's Settings, or delete the app, to remove everything it stored on your device. Data in your Supabase projects is managed in Supabase.
