These terms apply to SignalRoom, the SignalRoom Pro in-app purchase and the optional SignalRoom Helper, made by Wooden Amethyst (Rhys Ellwood, Australia).
Your licence
SignalRoom from the Mac App Store, including SignalRoom Pro, is licensed to you under Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. These terms add information specific to SignalRoom. If anything here conflicts with that agreement, Apple's agreement applies.
SignalRoom Pro
SignalRoom is free to download. SignalRoom Pro is an optional, once-off in-app purchase with no subscription. It unlocks the Pro features described in the app and on the App Store for as long as you have the purchase on your Apple Account. Restore it on another Mac signed in to the same Apple Account with Restore Purchase in the SignalRoom Pro window.
Apple processes payments. Refund requests are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. A refunded purchase no longer unlocks Pro.
SignalRoom Helper
The helper is a free, optional download from our website, provided under these terms. It adds hardware and media readings the sandboxed App Store app cannot read itself. It is not required to use SignalRoom, and installing it does not purchase or unlock Pro. You can remove it at any time.
Readings and estimates
SignalRoom shows information for general monitoring. Readings depend on what your Mac, its sensors and macOS make available, and some are estimates:
- battery time remaining depends on how your Mac is being used and can change quickly;
- AI costs are API-equivalent estimates from local logs and published model prices, not a bill from Anthropic or OpenAI or a statement of what your subscription costs;
- temperatures, fan speeds and power figures are the values your hardware reports.
Please don't rely on SignalRoom alone for decisions where an incorrect or missing reading could cause harm or loss.
Your consumer rights
Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law, and you may have similar rights where you live. Nothing in these terms limits those rights. To the extent the law allows, and apart from those rights, SignalRoom and the helper are provided as they are, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from their use.

SignalRoom is independent software. Claude and Claude Code are trademarks of Anthropic. Codex and ChatGPT are trademarks of OpenAI. Apple, Mac, macOS, Apple silicon and App Store are trademarks of Apple Inc. SignalRoom is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by any of these companies.
